# Lohnpfändung – Annual Update Checklist (Pfändungstabelle)

The Pfändungstabelle (garnishment exemption table) is updated annually on **1 July**. Update the Lohnpfändung Lexikon post when new values are published.

## Values to Update

1. **Pfändungstabelle section** – Grundfreibetrag, Erhöhungsbeträge für Unterhaltspflichtige
2. **Content table** – "Pfändungstabelle 2025/2026 – Auszug" → new year (e.g. 2026/2027)
3. **All mentions** of 1.555 €, 1.560 € (aufgerundet) → new values
4. **BGBl. reference** – e.g. BGBl. I 2025 Nr. 110 → new Bekanntmachung
5. **FAQs** – "Wie hoch ist der Pfändungsfreibetrag 2025?" → new year and values

1. Check BMJV/BGBl. for new Pfändungsfreigrenzenbekanntmachung (typically published before 1 July)
2. Update content-draft.html: table, Grundfreibetrag, BGBl. reference, year mentions
3. Use `update-post-content.php` for content changes per [BLOG_CONTENT_EDIT_WORKFLOW.md](../../BLOG_CONTENT_EDIT_WORKFLOW.md)
4. Update FAQ answers in faq-answers-optimized.json (Pfändungsfreibetrag, Existenzminimum)
5. Run `add-faqs-to-post.php` if FAQ structure changed
6. Update meta in seo-meta.json
7. Run `sync-meta-to-posts.php`
8. Run `validate-new-post.php --post=lohnpfaendung --category=lexikon`
